Washington Township REINVENTED: Launch Party Revealed Changes

Westfield Washington Township Trustee Danielle Carey Tolan announced today that the Township hosted a Launch Party on February 29 to reveal the “REINVENTED Westfield Washington Township” which included announcements on new features and future plans for the organization. The Launch Party was held at Grand Junction Brewing Company.

At the Launch Party, Trustee Danielle Carey Tolan revealed significant changes to Westfield Washington Township such as a new brand, new website, programming changes and outline the vision for the Township’s future. “I have officially been serving as Trustee for one year and we have spent the majority of our year in office auditing the organization and developing plans to make the Township the best organization possible,” says Tolan. “Now it’s time to showcase our plans and put those plans into action.”

Westfield Washington Township has many responsibilities which are often unknown to the public, according to Tolan. Some of those responsibilities include community assistance and poor relief, fire protection, planning and zoning, burial assistance and parks and recreation activities. “We are usually known throughout the community for our youth and adult programs and activities, but we want the community to realize that we provide an abundance of services in addition to programming, and most importantly, we want the community to know about the assistance and services we provide to those residents in need,” says Tolan.
