Trustee Aid
The Trustee is here to help the residents of the Washington Township in times of crisis. The Trustee does not provide any long-term support or relief. However, if you have a sudden, unavoidable problem, we may be able to help with basic necessities of life:
- Food
- Clothing
- Shelter
- Medical
- Essential utility supplies
- Household supplies

Apply for Assistance
You must schedule an appointment with the Township Office by calling 317-574-9490 ext. 2 or sending an email. Fill out this state mandated assistance application (PDF) - applications are taken by scheduled appointments only. We have a few options on how you can get the application.
- You can print the application to bring with you to your scheduled appointment. DO NOT sign the form.
- You may stop by the Township office to pick up your packet prior to your appointment. DO NOT sign the form.
- You can fill out you application at the time of your appointment.
